How to read this page ▶
Maximum price. The price shown is the most a provider can charge. You might pay less than this, and that is okay.
The code. The code — like 01_020_0120_1_1 — is the NDIS item number. It can help when you check an invoice. Some supports have a different code for each day and time. Each card lists them.
Weekends and evenings. Support workers and nurses cost more in the evening, on Saturday, on Sunday and on public holidays. Tap a day under “Day and time” and the prices change to that day. Each card also lists every rate.
Same price every day. Some supports, like cleaning, gardening, therapy and support coordination, have one maximum price no matter what day it is. The card says “same price every day”.
When a shift crosses two rates. If one worker's shift runs across two rates (for example, from daytime into evening, or Friday night into Saturday), the provider can charge the higher rate for the whole shift.
Groups. For group activities, the hourly price is shared. It is divided by the number of people in the group.
GST. The prices already include any GST.
The date. These prices are from the NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026-27 that took effect on 24 September 2026. This is a guide to help you, not financial advice.
Good to know
These are maximum prices — the most a registered provider can charge. What you actually pay can be less, and it's worth talking with your provider about the rate in your service agreement. Prices shown are the national rate, which applies across almost all of Victoria.
These prices only apply if your funding is NDIA-managed or plan-managed. If you self-manage, you can agree a different price with your provider.
What's new
From 2026-27 the old price guide (the “Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits”) is called the NDIS Pricing Schedule. The maximum prices are now set by the Minister for the NDIS in a pricing determination. The latest schedule took effect on 24 September 2026. We checked every price on this page against it on 4 October 2026. The NDIA has said it will publish updated claiming guidance soon, so some rules (like travel and cancellations) may change.
